Your code, your files, and your chat history live on your machine — never in our database.
Our database holds only what it must — your login, your billing, the routing that connects your phone to your computer, any AI provider key you register (encrypted, used only to run your own chat), and anything you send us directly, like a support ticket.
On the free tier your phone talks straight to your computer across your own network. That traffic never reaches our servers — we only pass the handshake that introduces the two.
Reaching your machine from anywhere is what the paid plan buys, and that traffic does cross our relay — encrypted in transit, forwarded as it arrives, never written to disk — we keep only the byte counts we bill on. Tenux Chat on credits passes through us too, because we count the tokens to bill you. Bring your own key and it skips us entirely — straight to your model provider.
